Illustrator/designer, studied Fine Art/Film and Animation at Preston Institute of Technology, Melbourne, 1971–74. Lived in London 1983–91. Lives in France since 1993. The bulk of his work is in publishing; book covers and book design. Also works widely for design companies, newspapers and magazines. Output also includes posters, postage stamps, his own books and paintings. For some years he has been designing and making chairs with Nicholas von der Borch.
