Tim Beard

Born 1970, Gloucester, United Kingdom. Tim Beard studied Graphic Design from 1989–1992 at University of West England in Bristol, UK. He worked for London design agencies, Williams and Phoa, Cartlidge Levene and North, between the years of 1992–2004. In 2004 he was one of the founding partners of Bibliothèque, with Mason Wells and Jonathon Jeffrey.

He has designed trademarks / logos, corporate identity programmes, exhibitions and printed literature for clients such as Adidas, Sony, V&A, British Council, Science Museum and the Design Museum. Through Bibliothèque he has become well a respected figure on the UK design scene and frequently speaks at seminars, lectures and conferences. He has also judged many awards competitions including D&AD, Scottish Design Awards and ISTD

 

Jonathon Jeffrey

Jonathon Jeffrey born 1970, California, USA. Jonathon Jeffrey studied Graphic Design from 1989–1992 at University of Wales in Newport, UK. He worked for design agencies, Counterpoint and Farrow Design, between the years of 1992–2004. 
In 2004 he was one of the founding partners of Bibliothèque, with 
Tim Beard and Mason Wells.

He has designed trademarks / logos, corporate identity programs, exhibitions, record covers and printed literature for clients such as British Library, Kylie, Pet Shop Boys, D&AD, Space NK, Tate Modern and Natural History Museum. Through Bibliothèque he has become well a respected figure on the UK design scene and frequently speaks at seminars, lectures and conferences. He has been a judge for D&AD on a number of occasions and has five Silver awards, along with numerous in book / nominations.

 

Mason Wells

Mason Wells born 1969, Newport, United Kingdom. Mason Wells studied BA(hons) Graphic Design from 1988–1992 at University of Wales in Newport, UK and in 1993 obtained a masters degree from Saint Martins School of Art, London. He worked for London design agencies, Cartlidge Levene, Farrow and North, between the years of 1992–2004. In 2004 he was one of the founding partners of Bibliothèque, with Tim Beard and Jonathon Jeffrey.

He has designed trademarks / logos, corporate identity programs, exhibitions and printed literature for clients such as RAC, Alan Yau, Motorola, Shell, Nike, London Sinfonietta and the Barbican. Through Bibliothèque he has become well a respected figure on the UK design scene, and frequently speaks at seminars, lectures and conferences. He has been a judge for D&AD on a number of occasions and has a Silver award, along with numerous in book / nominations. Mason was an external examiner at Camberwell School of Art and Design from 2002 to 2006.
